2 Mantas "Estilo Mosaico"
In my knitting
club, we all fell in love with the “Granny Tiles Blanket”, that is, the blanket
with granny squares that all have the last row in the same color.
mismo color.
So far, we have
made four of these blankets. Last year I
showed you mine (Granny Tile Blanket @ Lanas & Hilos). And now, I want to show you photos of two other
“Granny Tile Blankets”:
“mantas mosaico o azulejo”:
1. “Sweet” Granny Tiles (Mosaicos Dulces)
(Made by / Hecho por: Beatriz)
My mom made this blanket
for a baby girl.
Mi mamá hizo
esta manta para una niña.
It is made with Tamm
Bebe yarn, in 7 colors: light pink, strawberry pink, light green, yellow,
blue, light grey and white (for the background).
The border is
made in sc in all colors, ending with white little arches.
arcos blancos.
Since there was
plenty of leftover yarn, my mom decided to make another matching blanket…
otro estilo…
…A simple stripes
colorful blanket, made with only dc’s, with a wide white lacy border. Maybe one
blanket can be for the baby’s room and the other one for the carriage.
I am loving this
second one!
¡Me encanta
esta segunda!
2. “Bright”
Granny Tiles (Mosaicos Brillantes)
(Made by / Hecho por: Chichi)
My aunt made this
blanket for a baby boy.
Mi tía hizo esta
manta para un niño.
The background is
also in white, but the granny squares are in bright colors: red, orange,
yellow, green, grey, baby blue and navy blue.
amarillo, verde, gris, celeste y azul.
Mañosa familia. Belleza!
ReplyDeleteGreat crochet job! Love all the colours and your pictures are very nice to look at!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness ... what beautiful craftsmanship!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Ana, all blankets are pretty, simple granny's are always the best and you must have used up quite a bit of your stash haha, I'm thinking about our monthly challenge and how we can go about doing it.:)
ReplyDeleteYes, I used a lot of colors from my stash in that blanket I made last year. The cream one in the background was the only one I had to buy. But I am in urgent need to use my growing collection of leftover yarn. Lets talk about ideas on how to do so...
DeletePreciosas, me han encantado. Un abrazo desde Madrid.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely - the colours in the little girl's blanket are so soft and soothing. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the blankets...such sweet and soft colours.
