Nautical Dream Stripes

I made my firstDream Stripes Shawl in grey and cream, but I had to make the second more colorful…

Tejí mi primer Chal de Líneas Soñadas (ing. Dream Stripes) en gris y crema, pero el segundo tenía que ser más colorido…

It starts with blue and white stripes…and ends with a red border. 

Comienza con líneas en azul y blanco…  y termina con un borde rojo. 

[Note: I changed the pattern a bit for the tips.  The original has lacy increases, and I did mine in stockinette st.]

 [Nota:  Cambié un poco el patrón en las puntas].

The combination of these colors gives it such a nautical touch, therefore its name: “Nautical Dream Stripes”.

La combinación de estos colores le da un toque marítimo, y por ello le di el nombre de: “Chal de Líneas Náuticas”. 

Here is my mom wearing the shawl.

Aquí está mi mamá luciendo el chal. 

I just love this shawl!!!

KAL: Pour Moi

(KAL--Knit Along)

Today starts a Knit-along (KAL) that Evelyn from Project: Stash is organizing @ Ravelry.

The KAL is called “Pour Moi” (in French), which means: “For Me”.  It is the perfect excuse to knit something beautiful for yourself.  Sounds great, doesn´t it?

I decided to join in, and I will be making the Dream Stripes Shawl (yes, again!  I loved my first one so much, I want another one), now in 3 colors: Navy Blue, White and Red.
