(Knit)
The love of the
Baktus scarf continues…and now I am experimenting with two kinds of yarns: angora* and a variegated merino yarn. I am alternating between them for a stripes
effect.
* [The angora I
am using is by Madame Tricote Paris: 40% angora goat hair; 60 % acrylic. No rabbits were harmed in the process.]
matizado.
* [Madame Tricote
Paris: 40% angora de cabra; 60 % acrílico]
I love this
variegated merino** because the color changes are long, and the color effects
are wonderful. This merino yarn has
shades in purple, grey, beige, and cream.
And I am combining it with grey angora*.
**[Merino Gold
Batik Design, by Madame Tricote Paris].
Since I am using
angora, I decided to use large knitting needles (8 mm), for a light and airy
effect.
poco calado.
And this is the
result!
¡Este es el resultado!
The other Baktus
I have made so far were on the narrow
side (check: Color change in the Baktus; Baktus love; Hybrid scarf; Moody Grape; My First Baktus), but this is wider on the front, for
fuller coverage.
Las otras bufandas Baktus que he
tejido hasta ahora son un poco angostas (visiten: Color change in the Baktus; Baktus love; Hybrid scarf; Moody Grape; My First Baktus ), pero esta es más ancha al frente, para una mayor cobertura.
I liked it so
much that I already started another one, with Country blue angora and Merino in
shades of grey and cream…
crema.
