2 All Shawls: Pink and Red

(Crochet)

Warm weather is definitely in my mind, and it reflects on my current project choices.  In this past month, I made two lacy “All Shawls”, which are perfect for spring and summer…

I love the “All Shawl”.  It is a lacy crochet shawl designed by Doris Chan.  If you have been following me from my other blog (Lanas & Hilos), you know that I have made several of these throughout the years: “Collection”; “For summer”; “Times Two”.  They are one of the most comfortable crochet shawls I have worn, because they hug the shoulders perfectly.  And even better, they are fast and easy to make.  And if that was not good enough…the pattern is free! (@ Ravelry: All Shawl).

The bright pink one is made with luscious cotton (artisanal).  The red one was a special gift, and I made it with angora in the body, and acrylic yarn for the edge to give it some weight and drape.

I am sure this won´t be the last time I make one of these shawls…for I love it!

  5. I love, love these beautiful lacy shawls! Great timing for sharing the pattern link, too--this wrap would be a PERFECT complement to a sleeveless floral dress I'll be sewing up soon. I'm hopping over to Doris Chan's Ravelry link right now. :)
