Frazada para Niño
(Crochet)
Made by (Hecho
por): Beatriz
A classical
granny blanket, with a little twist: the body is made in 4-row granny squares,
and then framed with mini-granny squares.
Una manta
clásica con cuadros de la abuelita, pero con una variante: el cuerpo de la
manta está hecha en cuadros de 4 hileras, rodeadas de mini-cuadros (de 2
hileras).
Medium yarn, in 2
country blues, navy, beige and cream.
Lana
mediana, en dos azules campestres, azul marino, beige y crema.
It is perfect for
a little boy.
Perfecta
para un varoncito.
Finished with a
granny stripe border, and a little frill at the end.
El borde
sigue con el patrón “granny”, y un vuelito final.
Definitely, this is a great
stash-buster project…
Sin duda, éste es un
proyecto ideal para acabar con las lanas
acumuladas…

ReplyDeleteThat was a very nice take on the grannies. May be this is how I'm going to make one of the four blankets scheduled this winter? Great work! :-)

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful blanket, I love the blue and brown combination.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors and the border!
ReplyDeleteDo you have a pattern for this blanket? I would really like to make this for someone who is having a baby boy?
ReplyDeleteSorry, it was improvised! But if you know how to joing granny squares as you go, you basically do that, mixing it up with mini granny squares too (2 mini for 1 big square (of 4 rows). You will need a final border, because it does ripple a bit.
DeleteCheck this other blanket... You will find some instructions and links for granny squares:
