Oh Boy! Granny Blanket

Frazada para Niño
(Crochet)
Made by (Hecho por): Beatriz

A classical granny blanket, with a little twist: the body is made in 4-row granny squares, and then framed with mini-granny squares.

Medium yarn, in 2 country blues, navy, beige and cream.

It is perfect for a little boy.
Perfecta para un varoncito.

Finished with a granny stripe border, and a little frill at the end.

Definitely, this is a great stash-buster project…

  10. That was a very nice take on the grannies. May be this is how I'm going to make one of the four blankets scheduled this winter? Great work! :-)

    1. Sorry, it was improvised! But if you know how to joing granny squares as you go, you basically do that, mixing it up with mini granny squares too (2 mini for 1 big square (of 4 rows). You will need a final border, because it does ripple a bit.
