My aunt made this
pretty blanket for a baby girl.
Mi tía hizo esta linda manta para una
bebé.
She used the
pattern called: “Pastel Waves”, from the crochet booklet: “Our Best Baby
Afghans” (by Leisure Arts).
Ella usó un patrón de una revista de
ganchillo (en ingles): “Our Best Baby Afghans” (de Leisure Arts).
Medium yarn,
Caron Simply Soft in: White, Heather Grey and Soft Pink.
Lana mediana, de Caron Simply Soft, en
blanco, gris y rosado pálido.
The waves are
made with alternating fan sts.
Las ondas se forman con puntadas de
abanico alternadas.

DeleteThank you Ana BC for sharing this beautiful blanket that your aunt made! I don't know if you realize HOW popular this baby blanket is on Pinterest but just from my pin alone, I have many, many re-pins from others. I was fortunate to have this book that the pattern is in so I was tickled to be able to crochet it for my first grandchild - a girl - that was just born this past week. I was elated that my son and daughter-in-law used this blanket for the hospital pictures. I got lots of compliments. I added an additional shade of pink besides the other 3 colors that was used. I added Victorian Rose from the Caron Simply Soft yarn and I really like how it came out. I would love to send you a picture of it but your site doesn't allow me to download images.
ReplyDeleteI just found your comment!!! So sorry to have missed it. Congratulation on your granchild. I'd love to see the photos of your blanket. You can send it through e mail to: anabcfalla@gmail.com
