Having Fun with Colors

(Knit)

Remember the Merino/Angora* Baktus scarves I showed you a few weeks ago?  Well, I made more…but this time, I used more colorful merino yarns.
[* Note: The Angora is 40% angora fine goat hair, 60 % acrylic; no rabbits were harmed in its production]

a. COOL BRIGHTS

Angora in Cream + Merino in Blue, Turquoise, Lilac and Fuchsia
Angora en crema + merino en azul, turquesa, lila y fucsia

b.  SUNSET BRIGHTS

Angora in Cream + Merino in Coral, Orange, Brown and Cream
Angora en crema + merino en coral, naranja, marrón y crema

Love it with white.
Me encanta combinado con blanco

c.  RAINBOW BRIGHTS

Angora in Dark Grey + Merino in orange, yellow and purple hues.
Angora en gris oscuro + merino en tonos morados, naranja y  amarillo

This one can be matched with either a dark top, or bright or white one.

I definitely love the effect of mixing variegated with a solid color.  Which combination do you like the best?

  1. I love mixing variegated yarn with plain too Ana, I love all combinations but my favourite is cool brights, the sunset brights does look good with the white it really brings out the colours and I like the rainbow brights with the orange background. Actually I would have to have one of each :) have a great weekend :)

  4. Hola Ana:
