Classic in Black

(Knit)

It is a simple knit hat, all in black.
Esta es una gorra simple, tejida en dos agujas, con lana negra.

It is a little long, which makes it slouchy.
Es un poco larga, y queda bombacha.

My niece asked me to knit this for her, and I am glad that it did fit her perfectly.
Mi sobrina me pidió que le tejiera una, y me alegra que quedara tal como quería.

I made another one, as a gift.  It is exactly the same, but in charcoal black.
Luego tejí otra, para un regalo.  Son básicamente iguales, pero esta otra es en negro carbón.

A classic hat.
Una gorra clásica.

  2. Such a beautiful black hat, you are a very kind aunt. For me I adore black but it can be the most boring of colours to crochet with. I have tons of black yarn and lots of ideas but every time I start ,I can't seem to finish it and sits in the back of the cupboard, but seeing your finished hat really makes me what to finish mine.

    1. You are right, Helda. Dark colors are the hardest to work with. The clue is to work with it during the day, or under a bright light :-)

    1. Funny that you mention it...because I actually wear more black than pastels, but I mainly use soft tones for the baby projects ;-)

  10. Perfect!! Classics are always useful :-). Great that you could make such nice photos because black often is difficult to photograph.
