A veces compro lana teniendo en mente un proyecto específico; pero en otras ocasiones compro lana pensando que luego se me ocurrirá algo para usarla.  Esto último es el caso de esta blusa veraniega…

A few months ago I came across this lovely light cotton yarn, and I got a lot of colors.  Then my mind started spinning, on what projects I could make.  To start with, I chose these earthy tones, and then started looking at crochet stitches.  I improvised here and there, and the summer top was done!  I love it when inspiration takes me to a fruitful outcome (because that is not always the case). 

I gave this top to my sister, so now I have to make one for me…

Hace unos meses compré unas lindas madejas de algodón, y mi mente comenzó a maquinar qué podría hacer con ellas.  Busqué unas puntadas para ganchillo y comencé a jugar con las lanitas.  Improvisé un poco, y felizmente me salió bien la idea de una blusa calada con franjas de varios colores (digo felizmente, porque no todas las ideas salen bien). 

Esta blusa es para mi hermana, así que ahora tengo que hacer una para mí…
