Sometimes I buy
yarn for a special project, but other times I buy a yarn just because I like it and
then I figure out what to do with it.
The latter is the case of this cowl…

I fell in love
with the changes of color in the Bernat Mosaic yarn. There are some cool color combinations, and I
chose the “Vivid” colorway, with bright colors. For balance, I
decided alternate it with a dark grey mohair. The result is a super light and fun cowl.

de esta lana: Mosaic, de Bernat. Tienen
combinaciones de colores muy interesantes, y yo elegí la version: “Vivid”, con
colores vivos. Para balancearlo, decidí
alternarlo con una lana mohair en gris oscuro.
El resultado fue un cuello livino y divertido.

Love the colours!! It reminds me of a cozy fireside :) I couldn't see on the label, but is the Bernat a cotton or a wool blend? Just curious as I've only seen Bernat as cotton in my local store here. The cowl does look super soft Ana, beautiful work! Wendy x

ReplyDeleteIt's lovely Ana, I am always buying wool just because I like the look of it and it usually lies around for quite some time before I find the ideal project for it. I love the colours in this and the grey really brings them to life. :)
