(Knit)
I have made a few
more “colorful cowls”…
Tejí otros cuellos coloridos…
They are rather
easy to make: They are made all in garter (all knit sts.), alternating two rows
of a variegated yarn (Mosaic by Bernat), and two rows of angora yarn [Madame
Tricote Paris, made from the angora goat, not rabbits]. I used 8mm knitting
needles, which makes it soft and airy. I
casted on 48 sts (aprox 14”), and knitted for 65 rows (aprox. 25”). The ends are then sewn together. Finally, I make a simple border in crochet
(1sc + chain 1) with the angora yarn…and that’s it!
I can´t decide which one I like the best. What about you?
Hi Ana! I love all of your colourful cowls! <3
ReplyDeleteI always wanted to try something similar (it's on my project list!).
It's hard to pick a favourite, they are all pretty!
What a lovely yarn! Your photos show the colours beautifully!

I hope you try it, Ingrid. It is fun to make, and lovely to wear ;-)
DeleteAmazing cowls, and impossible choice: they're all fabulous! I think I like the black one better of all, but it's really hard to tell, because I really love rainbow wool too... : )
ReplyDeleteYour straight needles caught my eye, may I ask you which brand are they??
Wish you a great week! xx
The wooden ones are bamboo: Takumi Clover 8mm
DeleteThe red ones are Lion Brand, 8mm (they are plastic, but I love them)
wundervoll! ♥
ReplyDeleteLiebe Grüße, Manja
Lovely colors...beautiful scarfs....
ReplyDeleteHave a great week !
Anna
They are all lovely, but the second one is my favourite. I wear those colours a lot.
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty! I wish I could learn to knit better. I know all I need to do is practice, but the crochet gets in the way! I like the last one you pictured the best. So lovely! These will make great gifts!
ReplyDeleteBoth are lovely Ana I would have to have one of each. :) xx
ReplyDeleteMe encantan............¡¡¡¡
ReplyDeleteLovely colors! I prefer the last one color combo but I have to confess that violet is my favourite colour!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, Tama ;-) And purple is one of may favorites too
DeleteAna, they are all gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Meredith
Brilliant idea on how to use those single balls of yarn in lovely colors.
ReplyDeleteI tend to buy them before I think... Due to the colors..
Have a perfect evening
I do the same, Monica! many times I buy a yarn for its colors, and then have to figure out what to do with it ;-)
