(Crochet *
Stash-buster)
A lacy poncho,
made with light weight cotton.
Un poncho calado, hecho con algodón
liviano.
Colors: 2 greens,
dusty brown, mauve purple, light blue, linen, beige and yellow.
Colores: 2 verdes, lila, café, celeste, lino,
beige y amarillo.
For a more structured
neckline, I used front and back post stitches.
Para darle más estructura al cuello,
lo hice en punto de resorte.
This project was a
kind of experiment. I started using a
pattern for a lacy edge form a crochet book.
But I made so many changes, it is impossible to share how I did it. I almost gave up midway, but I am glad it
worked out at the end…and I love my new lacy poncho.
Este proyecto fue una especie de
experimento.

ReplyDeleteHi Ana,
ReplyDeleteMy daughter has asked me to crochet her a poncho and looking around in YouTube there is nothing that really tickles my fancy. But yours, my oh my, what a beauty!! Your colour combo is as always fabulous. I understand you don't have a pattern for it but just to get me started, a few questions if i may? Do you start from the top down? Are you working in the round or flat and joining at the end? Do you increase every row, 2 rows? Your help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks Ana. Regards, Corinne
